RADIAL IMMUNODIFFUSION KIT

The technique is widely used to detect the antigen concentration in unknown sample. The technique is based on the principle that antigen diffuses radially in the gel containing uniformly distributed antibody forming a concentration gradient disk and when the antigen reaches an equivalence with the antibody concentration, a Ag-Ab precipitate forms which are opaque. The diameter of the ring is proportional to the concentration of antigen.
